Forget small talk – let’s make something together. Knit Happens is your monthly meet-up to knit, crochet, laugh, and build a community tapestry with your East Village neighbours.

Once a month this Summer, we’re taking over the plaza for a laid-back evening of knitting, crocheting, and community vibes. We’re building a one-of-a-kind community tapestry from 4″ x 4″ squares – made by you! No experience? No problem. Your square can be as simple or as intricate as you like – what matters most is the spirit of coming together.

We’ll provide some yarn, needles, and hooks, but feel free to bring your own materials if you have them. At our final meetup, we’ll piece it all together and show off the finished tapestry in the ‘hood!
